“Older Sakhavu Krishnan was a much challenging role” admits Nivin
Nivin Pauly’s opener this year Sakhavu has not yet broke it’s successful opening run in theaters. The movie continues to run house full shows all over the state. The movie funded by B Rakesh under Universal Cinemas is directed by National Award achiever Siddharth Shiva. This political drama for Nivin comes after a long gap of an year.
He had given an interview to a leading news portal stating “Sakhavu Krishnan is seen in two different looks essaying different time periods. The older parts of Sakhavu Krishnan was really a challenging task for me. I had never done such a complex role of an elderly man ever in my life. I had in mind that if the role fails to impress the audience it would end up just as a school drama. Many had appreciated my role”
He had expressed his deepest of gratitude to the audience for accepting the role. As we had reported earlier Ranjith Ambady, the makeup artist had done a brilliant job in making Nivin look like an elderly person. Nivin had also highlighted the fact that Sakhavu is not just a political drama, it also describes the life other than the political phase of a politician.
Althaf Salim, who played Nivin Pauly’s friend had also given a decent act in the flick. The heroines, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aparna Gopinath also portrayed their roles well. Others who had given a great performance include Sreenivasan, Baiju, Binu Pappu, Renji Panicker, etc.
