Salt n Pepper producer Lucsam Sadanandan Rangorath accused of cheating Rs 4 lakhs
Rathesh Krishnan, a techie and a small time actor, has come out with severe allegations against producer
Sadanandan Rangorath of Lucsam Creations for cheating over Rs 4 lakhs from him. In a Facebook post, Rathesh has elaborated about how Sadanandan cheated him on the pretext of starting a new venture of in-film branding.
Sadanandan owns the production house Lucsam Creations and has produced two movies in Malayalam- Aashiq Abu’s Salt n Pepper and Sidharth Bharathan’s Nidra. The former won him a Kerala State Film Award for Best Popular Film with Aesthetic value.
Rathesh met the producer an year back while in Bangalore. Sadanandan is alleged to have cheated Rathesh by frequently borrowing money for all his needs. Recently, the producer had announced two movies and promised Rathesh that he will get his opportunities in these movies. He used Rathesh’s money for all his expenditures right from mobile recharge, hotel stays, photoshoots and travel expenses. The producer kept assuring that he will return back the money soon.
But Sadanandan has not yet returned back the movie and Rathesh is now bankrupt for Rs 4,11,000. He has now filed a police complaint against the producer. In his Facebook page, he has attached Sadanandan’s photo and a copy of the police complaint. He has requested everyone to kindly inform him or the police commissioner office in Bangalore, Kochi, Kollam and Mumbai regions, if they have any information regarding the accused. Rathesh, meanwhile, has been getting support from within the film industry and social medias.
