Mohanlal lends his voice for Prithviraj’s Tiyaan!
Tiyaan is highly anticipated for many reasons; the talented sibling duo of Prithviraj and Indrajith are teaming up, Murali Gopy’s powerful writing and the massive scale at which the movie is made. Here’s one more reason to further raise the expectation bar. Mohanlal will be narrating the movie and he has already finished dubbing for his portions.
Tiyaan, directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, will be narrated with Mohanlal’s voice-over. Earlier this year, Mohanlal had also lent his voice for a prominent character in Manju Warrier’s C/O Saira Banu.
It must be remembered that the Tiyaan team of Prithviraj and Murali Gopy will be working with Mohanlal next year for the much anticipated Lucifer. The movie, which will mark the directorial debut of Prithviraj, is scripted by Murali Gopy and stars Mohanlal in the lead role. Perhaps, that rapport has helped them to rope in Mohanlal to lend his voice in Tiyaan.
The movie boasts of a stellar star cast. Apart from the two lead actors, Murali Gopy, Padmapriya, Ananya, North Indian actress Mrudula Sathe, veteran actor Ranjeeth, Rahul Madhav, Shine Tom Chacko, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prakash Bare and Paris Lakshmi are also part of the cast.
Tiyaan is a socio-political drama set in the North Indian milieu. It is the story of two youths who get caught in the religious clashes in North India. Prithviraj is playing the role of Aslan Mohammed and Indrajith’s character is named as Pattabhiraman. Murali Gopy will be seen in a new makeover as Ramkant Mahasay.
Tiyaan is made on a budget movie, produced by Haneef Mohammed of Red Rose Creations. They have invested around Rs 25 crores for the movie. It is all set to hit screens on June 29.
