Tovino Thomas’ Tharangam is gearing up to hit screens during this coming Pooja season. The movie directed by debutant Dominic Arun is features Tovino and newbie Santhy Balachandran in the lead roles. Tamil actor Dhanush is making his entry to Mollywood by producing this movie his prestigious banner Wunderbar Films.
The official trailer of Tharangam was released today the makers via Facebook. Tharangam is touted to a black comedy featuring Tovino and Balu Varghese as policemen. The trailer is very interesting and the movie promises to be a fun entertainer with elements of suspense.
Tovino is playing the role of sub inspector Padmanabhan in Tharangam. He is someone who is always accompanied by Balu Varghese’s character Joy. Both of them are suspended from the police force for being part of an unauthorised mission that lead to the death of a police officer.
Newcomer Neha Iyer, Manoj K Jayan, Dileesh Pothen, Vijayaraghavan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Saiju Kurup, Sijoy Varghese and Shammi Thilakan are also part of the cast. The movie is jointly scripted by Dominic Arun and Anil Narayanan. Deepak D Menon has cranked the camera and Sreenath S in charge of the edits.
An official word regarding the release date is expected to be made very soon.
