Excellent response for Vishwaroopam 2 trailer!!
Last day, the eagerly awaited trailer of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 was released in social medias. While Aamir Khan released the Hindi version of the trailer, Jr NTR and Shruti Haasan released the Telugu and Tamil versions via their respective social media handles. The Vishwaroopam series, written and directed by Kamal Haasan features him in the lead role of a hotshot RAW agent.
From the trailer, Vishwaroopam 2 is looks like a prequel that unfolds the events that occurred during Wisam’s stint as a spy with the terrorists in Afghanistan. The trailer loaded with some high voltage action moments is getting great response in social medias. Though the VFX shots look tacky, reports suggest that the post-production works are still underway.
The first part, Vishwaroopam, released in 2014, was a huge success both critically and commercially. Though the film faced several hurdles prior to it’s release, it emerged as a big blockbuster doing a lifetime business of over 100 crores. The second part is also expected to repeat the same success. The movie was shelved for a long time before Kamal Haasan’s own production house Raajkamal Films International took over the project.
Vishwaroopam 2’s cast also includes Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Waheeda Rahma and Shekhar Kapur. All of them will be reprising their roles from the first part. The technical team comprises of cinematographers Shamdat Sainudeen, Sanu Varghese and editor Mahesh Narayanan. Ghibran handles the music department.
The makers have officially announced that the movie will be releasing worldwide on August 10.
