Sunny Wayne to make his Tamil debut with National award winner Raju Murugan’s next
Of late, Sunny Wayne has been quite choosy with his films. He has a couple of exciting films coming up for release – Kayamkulam Kochunni and Oru Kuttanadan Blog (OKB). While he plays a prominent role in Kochunni, he will be seen in a brief cameo role in OKB. Sunny also has French Viplavam and ‘Queen’ remake Zam Zam in his kitty. The latest we hear is that the actor is set to foray into Tamil film industry.
Sunny Wayne will be making his Tamil debut with ‘Gypsy’, directed by Raju Murugan. Tamil actor Jiiva plays the lead role in the movie, which is said to be a travel based love story. Details about Sunny’s characters are not yet known but it is said to be a substantial one.
Raju Murugan is a much revered filmmaker in Kollywood. Both his previous films – Cuckoo and Joker won widespread acclaim. Joker went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. According to him, Gypsy is a message-oriented commercial entertainer with travel and romance as the two major elements.
