According to the director, the movie is a fun thriller with all necessary ingredients of a rom-com. Ladoo has a cheerful storyline that revolves around a day’s happenings. A group of friends are on their way to a registrar’s office on their van and the journey changes the course of their lives.
The movie scripted by Sagar Satyyan has Vinay Forrt playing the groom’s character while Balu Varghese and Shabareesh Varma will be seen as his friends. National award winning Tamil actor Bobby Simha is also said to be essaying a crucial cameo role in the movie. Dileesh Pothan, Manoj Guinness and Saju Navodaya are also part of the supporting cast.
Ladoo’s major attraction is its music by Rajesh Murugesan of ‘Premam’ and ‘Neram’ fame. The makers had recently released a song titled ‘Karineela Kanna Kanna’, is rendered by Shabareesh Varma and Rajesh Murugesan. This fun track has caught attention in social medias. The movie’s technical crew includes DOP Gautham Sankar of ‘Theevandi’ fame and editor Lal Krishnan. S Vinod Kumar is producing the movie under the banner of Mini Studio. It is slated to hit screens on November 9.
