Here’s the first look of OP 160/18 Kakshi : Amminipilla
The first look poster of Asif Ali’s new film OP 160/18 Kakshi : Amminipilla was released by actor Prithviraj today through his official social media handle. This intriguingly designed poster has a perplexed looking Asif, as a lawyer, and a couple is also seen sitting behind him. Asif is also seen holding the marriage law’s book and Karl Marx’s Das Kapital in the other. Portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Marx are also seen in the background.
Debutant Dinjith Ayyathan is directing this movie, which has Asif playing an advocate for the first time in his career. The movie scripted by Sanilesh Shivan is an unusual court-room drama happening in Thalassery. It is centred around an unusual case of a newly wed couple Shajith Kumar aka Amminipilla and his wife Kanthi.
Ammini Pilla approaches advocate Pradeepan Manjodi, a political aspirant who initially refuses, later he takes up the case, changing the perspective giving the story line a twist. This realistic court drama unveils interesting case from different layers with humour and emotions.
The movie’s supporting cast includes Vijayaraghavan, Nirmal Palazhy, Sudhesh, Mamukoya, Basil Joseph, Ahamed Siddique, Sreekanth Murali, Lukman, Babu Annur, Aswathy Manoharan, Shibla and Sarayu Mohan. On the technical front, cinematography is handled by Bahul Ramesh and edits are by Sooraj ES. Arun Muraleedharan and Samuel Aby are composing the songs and Jakes Bejoy is in charge of the music department. Riju Rajan is producing the movie under the banner of Zarah Films.
