Prithviraj in talks for Kottayam Nazeer’s directorial debut
Prithviraj starrer ‘Brother’s Day’ is getting ready to hit screens next week as a grand Onam release. Recently, as part of the movie’s promotions, a get-together was held in Kochi. While speaking at the event, Prithviraj pointed out about how the directorial career of mimicry artists start with him. Nadirshah made his debut with ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and its now Kalabhavan Shajohn’s turn.
Likewise, Kottayam Nazeer has also narrated a script to Prithviraj and might soon matreialize as a project. The actor himself revealed this on stage last day. He called Nazeer’s script as a surprisingly good one. It is worth a mention that Nazeer had recently directed a short film named ‘Kuttichan’. It remains to be seen how his feature film debut shapes up.
Prithviraj meanwhile has a long list of films coming up. He is currently shooting for ‘Driving Licence’, directed by Jean Paul Lal. After its completion, he will start working on Sachi’s ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. He has also committed for a project each with Rathish Ambat and Irshad Parari. Blessy’s ‘Aadujeevitham’ also has a bulk of portions left to be shot. Besides all that, Prithviraj also has his sophomore directorial ‘Empuraan’ lined up for next year.
