Appreciations are flowing in for the performance of Dulquer Salmaan in his last release in named OK Kanmani which was conceived by the master film maker Mani Ratnam. The appreciation from some corners lead to some controversies as well. The appreciation from Ram Gopal Varma in which he mentioned Dulquer’s father Mammootty in a rather negative way caused a lot of trouble for him as he had been attacked through online pages and accounts from many die hard Mammootty fans and he later apologized for his comment to those people who did not understood what he said and what he really meant to say.
But many people gave good positive appreciation for Dulquer Salmaan and people like the director of this film Mani Ratnam, the master director Gautham Vasudev Menon, mollywood actor and writer Anoop Menon, the young star of kollywood Suriya, and other artists like Siva Karthikeyan etc are among those who appreciated Dulquer Salman. And even big guns like Amitab Bacchan said in his blog that he saw the film with his daughter and both of them had loved the performance of Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menon and they both have great chemistry as well.
Now it is the turn of super star Rajnikanth to do his part of appreciation for this upcoming young mollywood actor. Some days back we heard the news that super star Rajnikanth had appreciated Raghava Lawrance for his performance in the recent Tamil super hit Kanchana 2 and now we hearing the news that the super star had appreciated OK Kanmani too after watching a special screening at Chennai some days back. Rajnikanth had given a lot of appreciation for all worked in this film and specially congratulated and appreciated Dulquer Salmaan for his performance in the flick.
Rajnikanth and Mani Ratnam had worked together in a film named Thalapathy in which Rajnikanth shared the screen space with Mammootty who is the father of Dulquer Salmaan. Now Rajnikanth is here to appreciate the son of Mammootty for a good performance that too in a film conceived by Mani Ratnam himself. And this one is a special one for Dulquer as well.
