Nivin Pauly-Aditi Balan starrer Padavettu launched
The formal switch on ceremony of Nivin Pauly’s new film ‘Padavettu’ was held today (December 3) at LP School Ground, Kanhileri in Kannur. Debutant Liju Krishna is directing the film. Actor Sunny Wayne is making his feature film production debut by funding this film. Sunny had earlier produced director Liju’s play ‘Moment Just Before Death’ as well.
‘Padavettu’ is said to be a rustic tale set in Kannur. Director Liju Krishna himself has scripted the film. He has assured that the film will have Nivin Pauly in a kind of role that he has not done before. It will be a challenging role and the audience can expect to see a different side of the actor. Aditi Balan has been signed as the female lead. It marks her mating outing in Malayalam industry.
Aditi shot to fame with her sensational performance in the award winning Tamil film, ‘Aruvi’. Similar to Nivib, she also has a performance oriented role in ‘Padavettu’. The pretty actress waited for nearly two years since ‘Aruvi’ to sign her second film.
On the technical front, Deepak D Menon will be wielding the camera and edits will be done by Shefeek Muhammed Ali. Govind Vasantha will be handling the music department.
