Rowdy Baby emerges as the most watched music video in India in 2019
When the audio of ‘Rowdy Baby’ from the Dhanush-Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Maari 2’ got released online, it was an instant hit. The song became a chartbuster within no time. And when the official video was out, it became an even bigger sensation thanks to the lead pair’s stellar dance moves. Despite having an extraordinary dancer like Dhanush by her side, it was the graceful Sai Pallavi who grabbed all the attention. Dhanush and Dhee rendered the song, which was set to tunes by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Prabhu Deva did the dance choreography.
As the year comes to an end, ‘Rowdy Baby’ has become the most viewed music video in India in 2019. Last day, YouTube released the top 10 list of the ‘most viewed videos’. While it is placed at the first position in the Indian list, at the global level, it occupies the seventh slot. The list is headed by Daddy Yankee and Snow’s ‘Con Colma’.
The list of YouTube top trending music videos in India also features Dhvani Bhanushali’s ‘Vaaste’ ‘Coca Cola’ and ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ by Tony Kakkar, ‘Ve Maahi’ by Arijit Singh, and Punjabi hit numbers ‘Lehang’ and ‘Coka’.
