Pranav Mohanlal-Vineeth Sreenivasan film Hridhayam is musically rich with over 12 songs!
Vineeth Sreenivasan’s upcoming directorial ‘Hridayam’ starring Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leads is eagerly awaited by the Malayali audience. The team was shooting in Chennai when the lockdown was announced. They have been able to complete only 50% of shoot so far. Since the film demands to be shot outdoor with several crowd sequences, the makers have decided to wait until things get back to normalcy.
According to Vineeth Sreenivasan, ‘Hridayam’ is a musically rich film. In a recent interview with The Cue, he revealed that over 12 songs have already been composed for the film and some more might get added. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran had earlier recorded a song for the film. Hesham Abdul Wahab is handling the music department.
‘Hridayam’ is the first film for which Vineeth Sreenivasan is teaming up with someone other than Shaan Rahman, so this new collaboration is something exciting to look forward to. Prior to the commencement of shoot, Vineeth and Hesham had even traveled to Istanbul to record live instruments.
‘Hridayam’ is about a group of individuals and their life journey. Vineeth has taken real-life inspirations to script this film. Major portions of the film have been shot in the same engineering college in which Vineeth and his wife Divya studied. Pranav, Kalyani and ‘Mayaanadhi’ fame Darshana Rajendran play the central characters. Aju Varghese, Vijayaragavan, Baiju, Arun Kurian and several newcomers are part of the cast.
