Master Hindi dubbing completed; pan-India release in January, 2021
Vijay’s hugely awaited film ‘Master’ is gearing up for theatrical release in January during the Pongal season. The film was recently censored with a U/A certificate. Apparently, the makers are planning a pan-India release in January. Post-production works for the film’s Telugu and Hindi versions are currently underway.
Last day, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Hindi dubbing works have been completed and it will be censored next week. Updates regarding the Telugu version is expected to be out soon. Taran Adarsh’s tweet reads,
#Xclusiv… #Master – the much-awaited #Tamil film starring #Vijay and #VijaySethupathi – has been dubbed in #Hindi… #Hindi title #VijayTheMaster… #Hindi dubbing complete… #Tamil version censored [U/A], #Hindi version censor next week… PAN-#India release in Jan 2021.
‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. While Vijay plays an alcoholic college professor, Vijay Sethupathi essays the antagonist’s role of a gangster. Andrea Jeremiah, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Gouri Kishan and many others are part of the cast. With the censoring done, an official announcement regarding the release date is likely to be made anytime soon.
