Sriram Raghavan’s next after Andhadhun is with Vijay Sethupathi
Sriram Raghavan stunned everyone with his dark-comedy thriller ‘Andhadhun’. The film went on to win several accolades including a couple of National awards. It is also getting remade in multiple languages. After ‘Andhadhun’, the director was supposed to work on ‘Ekkis’, a new film starring his ‘Badlapur’ actor Varun Dhawan. However, that project has now been put on hold as it involves a huge budget and it would not be feasible due to the current pandemic situation.
Sriram Raghavan instead is planning to make another film with Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi. It will be a Hindi film with an intriguing concept. It is reported that the actor has already given his nod and they might start works soon. An official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days.
Vijay Sethupathi is starring in another Hindi film titled ‘Mumbaikar’. Directed by Santosh Sivan, it is the official remake of hit Tamil film ‘Maanagaram’. The Hindi version also stars Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Tanya Maniktala, Ranvir Shorey, Hridhu Haroon and Sachin Khedekar.
