Jai Sulthan: Here’s the first single from Karthi’s Sulthan
The makers of Karthi’s new film ‘Sulthan’ have released the first single online. Titled as ‘Jai Sulthan’, it is a mass number on the lines of ‘Aaluma Doluma’ and ‘Vaathi Coming’. The song is composed by Vivek-Mervin duo and it has vocals by Anirudh Ravichander, Junior Nithya and Gana Guna. A band named Elam Puyal Thapset, Vaniyambadi have performed live percussion, which is the highlight of the song.
‘Sulthan’ is written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ fame. The film promises to be a proper mass entertainer with all commercial elements in it. From the recently released teaser, we could make out that the film has loads of action in it. Rashmika Mandanna, one of South Indian cinema’s most popular heroines today, is making her Tamil debut with this film.
The cast includes ‘KGF’ fame Garuda Ram, Napoleon, Lal, Hareesh Peradi, Yogi Babu and Mansoor Ali Khan in important roles. Vivek-Mervin duo is composing the music and Ruben is handling the edits. Sathyan Sooryan is the cinematographer.
‘Sulthan’ is being produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. The film was supposed to release much earlier but it got postponed due to the pandemic. The makers are still eyeing for a theatrical release.
