Vijay visits late actor Vivek’s home to offer condolences to his family
Actor Vijay was in Georgia shooting for his new film when his colleague Vivek passed away suddenly. Last day, as Vijay returned back to Chennai he straight went to Vivek’s home to offer condolences to his family. Vijay’s PRO Riaz K Ahmed confirmed the news by sharing it with his followers on social media. He tweeted,
Thalapathy Vijay paid a visit to late Actor Vivek sir’s house to convey his heartfelt condolences to the family earlier this morning.
Vijay and Vivek have been very good friends for long. They have acted together in 13 films. ‘Kushi’, ‘Badri’, ‘Thirumalai’, ‘Priyamanavale’, ‘Thamizhan and ‘Youth’ are some of their most memorable films together. They last worked together in the Atlee directorial ‘Bigil’.
The 59-year-old Vivek suffered a heart attack on April 16 and was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. After being treated intensively, he breathed his last the next day. Condolences poured in for the actor, who has done more than 220 films. He is a recipient of three Filmfare Awards South and 5 Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
