KV Anand was planning his next with Dulquer Salmaan
On Friday, Tamil cinema lovers woke up to the shocking news of the demise of KV Anand. The ace cinematographer-turned-filmmaker passed away at 3 AM morning in Chennai following a cardiac arrest. The 54-year-old felt discomfort and drove himself to a private hospital in the city where he breathed his last.
Social media platforms are abuzz with condolence messages for KV Anand. Rajaneesh Vilakudy, a journalist, who was close to the late filmmaker has revealed that KV was in the works of his next film. He was planning to meet Dulquer Salmaan for the film. He added that Simbu was also in consideration.

A National award winning cinematographer, KV Anand has worked with several top stars and leading directors in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu languages. His films ‘Ko’, ‘Ayan’, ‘Maattrraan’ and ‘Anegan’ are still loved my many. His last release was ‘Kaappaan’ starring Suriya and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.
