Prithviraj hopes to see Kuruthi hitting theatres very soon
Prithviraj’s ‘Kuruthi’ was supposed to hit screens this coming Thursday (May 13). However, things haven’t gone as per plans due to the pandemic second wave, which is wreaking havoc across the country. Prithviraj, who is also the film’s producer, has still pinned high hopes on it. According to him, the shoot was wrapped up in quick time and the whole film was edited online. Moreover, the entire post-production works apart from the sound mix just took less than a month. In a recent Facebook post, he has penned a note along with a location still. Like others across the world, he is also waiting for better times.
Prithviraj has written,
#KURUTHI was edited online..and unlike most online edits..this one was pretty much the final cut of the film. Jakes was working on the score as we shot..and the entire post production apart from the final Atmos mix of the film took less than a month. Back in the beginning of 2021, when we wrapped the film, we hoped it would hit theatres very soon. We are still waiting..as is the world around us..for better times.
