Antony Varghese in talks for Kamal Haasan’s Vikram
With Kamal Haasan freeing himself from all the political commitments, his much-hyped film ‘Vikram’ is gearing up to go on floors soon. Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing the film, which is expected to be a spin-off of Kamal’s lead character from the 1986 film, ‘Vikram’. The star’s own banner Raaj Kamal Film International (RKFI) is producing the film.
While Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil has already confirmed acting in ‘Vikram’, latest buzz is that ‘Angamaly Diaries’ fame Antony Varghese has also been approached to play an important role. It is worth a mention that Antony was supposed to be a part of Lokesh’s previous film ‘Master’ but got replaced by Arjun Das at the last moment.
There are also reports about Vijay Sethupathi playing a major role in ‘Vikram’. So an official announcement from the makers regarding the cast members is keenly awaited. On the technical front, Lokesh has retained cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan and music director Anirudh Ravichander.
