Pushpa The Rise: First part of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa to hit screens for Christmas 2021
As speculated, the makers of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ have confirmed that the film will be releasing in two parts. The first part titled ‘Pushpa The Rise’ will be hitting screens for this year’s Christmas in December. Though it was originally planned as a regular single-part film, the makers decided to extend it as they felt that the script has the potential for a second part.
‘Pushpa’ is Allu Arjun’s first pan-Indian film and it will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Directed by Sukumar, the film promises to be an action packed entertainer. It revolves around the smuggling of red sanders in the Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh border. The film stars Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. While Allu Arjun plays a lorry driver, Fahadh is said to be essaying the role of a corrupt police officer. It is said that most of Fahadh’s portions will appear only in the second part.
Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Jagapati Babu, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Anish Kuruvilla and many others are part of the supporting cast.
