Suriya Set to Make Bollywood Debut in Epic Cinematic Marvel
Suriya, an eminent actor from Tamil Cinema, is poised to mark his Bollywood debut next year. According to sources in Bollywood, he is gearing up for a collaboration with the renowned director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra on a two-part epic cinematic masterpiece based on the character Karna from the Mahabharatha.
Recently, he had a meeting with the director to review the progress of the script for this Pan-Indian epic drama. The plan is to commence this project after Suriya completes his commitments with ‘Suriya43’ and the Vetrimaran film ‘Vaadi Vaasal.’ In the event that Vetrimaran is unavailable, Suriya may kickstart this Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra venture following ‘Suriya43.’
Suriya’s upcoming release is ‘Kanguva,’ directed by Siruthai Siva, which will also be presented in two parts. The success and reception of this Pan-Indian Marvel could provide a significant boost to Suriya’s Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, known for directing acclaimed films like ‘Rang De Basanti,’ ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag,’ ‘Delhi 6,’ ‘Toofan,’ and more.
In November, Suriya is set to embark on his next project with Sudha Konagara, in which Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Varma, and Nazriya Nazim play pivotal roles. This collaboration marks his second venture with Sudha Kongara following the massive success of ‘Soorarai Pottru.’
