Mohanlal’s Striking Presence Ignites Social Media Frenzy: Empuraan First Look Unveiled
The highly-anticipated sequel, Empuraan, featuring the renowned actor Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, has taken the Mollywood film scene by storm. Serving as the second installment of a trilogy, its predecessor, Lucifer, released in 2019, emerged as an all-time blockbuster, grossing over 128 crores worldwide.
Filming for Empuraan commenced last month in Delhi, with additional shoots in Shimla and Ladakh. The second schedule, set for January 2024, will span across the USA, UK, and Gulf countries.
The recently unveiled first-look poster of Empuraan showcases Mohanlal in a breathtaking avatar, sparking a social media frenzy. Since its online debut, the poster has rapidly gone viral, dominating trends across various platforms.
This cinematic spectacle is penned by Murali Gopi and jointly produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions. The ensemble cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Nyla Usha, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sai Kumar, and Baiju Santhosh, among other notable actors.
Empuraan’s musical score is crafted by Deepak Dev, while Sujith Vasudev handles the cinematography, and Stunt Silva orchestrates high-octane action sequences. Scheduled for a 2025 release, Empuraan will captivate audiences not only in Malayalam but also in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada, promising a multi-lingual cinematic experience.
