Murugadoss, whose last film was the 2020 Rajinikanth-led Darbar, has been quietly planning a comeback, and it appears the wait has been worthwhile.
The latest industry buzz hints that Murugadoss has signed Karthi for an upcoming project, with Suriya’s 2D Entertainment reportedly backing the film. This partnership is significant, as Murugadoss played a crucial role in shaping Suriya’s career with the blockbuster Ghajini in 2005. However, this time, Suriya will serve as producer while Karthi takes on the lead role, making it Murugadoss’ first collaboration with Karthi.
