Prabhas to Venture into Two Epic Cinematic Universes with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prasanth Varma
In an exciting development, Prabhas is reportedly gearing up to collaborate with visionary directors Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prasanth Varma, aligning with their ambitious cinematic universes. This collaboration would see Prabhas enter both the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) and the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), as per a report from Gulte. While fans await an official confirmation, this partnership hints at a dynamic expansion for both cinematic worlds.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU, launched with Kaithi in 2019, has since captivated audiences with projects like Vikram and Leo, featuring prominent actors such as Kamal Haasan and Vijay. Lokesh’s upcoming ventures include Coolie with Rajinikanth, followed by Kaithi 2 and an origin short film, LCU: Chapter 0.
Meanwhile, Prasanth Varma’s PVCU debuted with HanuMan, which has quickly garnered attention with its mythological superhero theme. The PVCU is set to expand with Jai Hanuman, Adhira, and Maha Kali, promising a unique take on Indian mythology. As Prabhas potentially joins both cinematic realms, his involvement could further amplify their impact, setting up crossover possibilities in Indian cinema.
Prabhas is currently busy with The Raja Saab, which will be released in April 2025 alongside Salaar 2 and Spirit, adding to an already power-packed lineup.
