Nivin Pauly’s Pharma to Premiere at 55th IFFI; Trailer and OTT Release Awaited
Nivin Pauly is all set to make his web series debut with Pharma, directed by PR Arun, under the banner of Moviee Mill Production. The thriller, set against the backdrop of the pharmaceutical industry, will have its world premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The screening is scheduled at INOX Panjim on November 27, 2024, at 4:45 PM.
Pharma delves into the life of a middle-class boy turned medical representative in his 20s, navigating the complexities of the pharmaceutical industry and later crossing paths with Dr. Rajiv Rao, a crusader against corruption. In this highly anticipated series, Nivin Pauly stars alongside Rajit Kapoor, Narain, Shruti Ramachandran, Veena Nandakumar, Aalekh Kapur, and Muthumani.
The filming wrapped up in April 2024, and the project is gearing up for its Disney+ Hotstar release by the end of the year. With Abhinandan Ramanujam as the cinematographer and Jakes Bejoy composing the music, Pharma promises an engaging experience. The trailer is expected to be released in late November, raising excitement among fans eager to explore this gripping thriller.
