Journey, Love, and Hope; ‘Theera Dooram’, Second Song from Anomie, Released
Journey, love, and hope come together in ‘Theera Dooram’, the second song from the upcoming Malayalam film Anomie – The Equation of Death, which was released today. Written and directed by Riyas Marath, the song has been launched through the popular music label T-Series. The track is sung by renowned South Indian playback singer Karthik, with lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar.
Anomie also marks the Malayalam debut of music composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who previously gained nationwide recognition for his work in films like Arjun Reddy and Animal. Set against the backdrop of a road trip, Theera Dooram is a soulful travel song that reflects the deep emotional bond between siblings Sara and Zian, their internal struggles, and their efforts to overcome psychological conflicts.
The crime thriller features Bhavana and Rahman in the lead roles, with a strong supporting cast that includes Shebin Benson, Vishnu Agasthya, Binu Pappu, Arjun Lal, and Drishya Raghunath. Anomie is also notable for being the first Indian film to use the advanced Sound Particles technology, a sound design technique widely used in Hollywood productions.
The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, T-Series Films, and Panorama Studios, and is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Dr Roy C. J., Chairman of Confident Group, Blitzkrieg Films, APK Cinema, and lead actress Bhavana, under the banner of Bhavana Film Productions, are also associated as production partners.
Cinematography is handled by Sujith Sarang, editing by Kiran Das, and action choreography by Action Santhosh. Anomie – The Equation of Death is scheduled to hit theatres on February 6.
