Aashirvad Cinemas to Distribute Unni Mukundan’s “Get Set Baby” in Kerala
Aashirvad Cinemas, the prestigious production and distribution house led by Antony Perumbavoor and superstar Mohanlal, is set to handle the Kerala distribution of Unni Mukundan’s upcoming Malayalam comedy-drama “Get Set Baby.” The much-anticipated film, directed by Vinay Govind, is slated for a February release, with the official date expected to be announced soon. Produced by Sajiv Soman and Sunil Jain under the banners of Skanda Cinemas and Kingsmen Productions, this movie promises to entertain audiences with its engaging storyline and stellar performances.
Following the phenomenal success of “Marco,” which grossed over ₹100 crores and garnered pan-Indian appreciation, Unni Mukundan is back to entertain his fans with “Get Set Baby.” In this unique film, he portrays an IVF specialist, a refreshing and intriguing role that adds to the movie’s charm.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Chemban Vinod Jose, Johny Antony, Meera Vasudevan, Surabhi Lakshmi, Muthumani Somasundaran, and Sudheesh. The screenplay, penned by debutant Anoop Ravindran in collaboration with Y.V. Rajesh, blends humor and drama seamlessly, ensuring a wholesome cinematic experience.
Helmed by Vinay Govind, known for hits like Kili Poyi (2013) and Kohinoor (2015), the movie is backed by a talented technical crew.
