After John Abraham, Chiranjeevi also set to star in Vedhalam remake?
Tamil star Ajith’s hit film ‘Vedhalam’ is highly in demand in the remake circles even after 5 years of its release. Producer Bhushan Kumar had earlier acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film and it was reported that John Abraham will be starring in it. Latest reports suggest that yet another remake is in the offing. Megastar Chiranjeevi is likely to star in the Telugu version of ‘Vedhalam’. Meher Ramesh, who had successfully remade ‘Billa’ in Telugu, will be helming this film.
Chiranjeevi was supposed to start works on the remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’ but the star is not pleased with the film’s adapted script. So it is learnt that the star has decided to put that project on hold and proceed with ‘Vedhalam’ remake. An official announcement is expected to be made on Chiranjeevi’s birthday which falls on August 22. An exciting update regarding his highly anticipated film ‘Acharya’ is also eagerly awaited by the fans.
