Anusree to share screen space with Mohanlal in Oppam
Mohanlal has completed his shoot for the film Pulimurugan directed by Vysakh and now joined the sets of his second Telugu film of this year directed by Koratala Siva at Hyderabad. The film titled Janatha Garage had begun filing which has Jr. NTR as well playing the lead role along with Mohanlal. Mollywood actor Unni Mukundan, Nithya Menon, Samantha etc were the other artists working in this film. Devayani said to be playing the wife character of Mohanlal in this flick.
But among all this, his next Malayalam film also will start its shoot in this coming March. And popular actress Anusree to share screen space with him in that film named Oppam directed by Priyadarshan. The film Oppam will start on March 5 as per latest reports and Antony Perumbavoor will produce the film under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.

The film has two heroines and one will be played by Vimala Raman and other will be by Anusree. There were earlier reports that Tamil actress Sanchitha Shetty will also play an important role in the film. Mohanlal will play a visually challenged character in this upcoming flick and it will have artists like Samudrakkani, Mamukkoya, Nedumudi Venu etc as well.
Vimala Raman is making a comeback to Mollywood after a long gap and she had earlier worked with Mohanlal in Tulasidas directorial film College Kumaran. Anusree is going to work with Mohanlal for the first time in her career. She had given some great performances in recent years and the notable one was Ithihasa by Binu S.
The story of this film is written by a newcomer named Govind and script will be by Priyadarshan himself. Ekambaram will be the DOP of the film who had earlier worked with Priyadarshan in his film named Vettam which had Dileep in the lead. The film said to be a crime thriller and everyone hopes that this will be a great comeback from Priyadarshan after the dual flops he suffered recently. The main locations of the film is Ernakulam and Ootty.
