B Unnikrishnan is unhappy with people spreading fake news about Villain
Mohanlal- B Unnikrishnan team’s ongoing project Villain is highly anticipated by the audience. The movie has some big names associated with it both in the cast and crew department and that has heightened the expectations multifold.
Recently, the movie’s teaser was released to great response in social medias. The teaser release paved way to widespread discussions over the movie’s storyline and the filmmaking style.
However, director B Unnikrishnan is not at all happy with such discussions and he has come out bursting against them. In his Facebook page, the director has written that he recently came to know about the discussions based on actor Srikanth’s photos that were published in a popular weekly. He urged people not to approach movies based on some prejudiced opinions as it not only affects the director but an entire crew and their hardwork.
Villain is a crime thriller starring Mohanlal as an ex-cop Mathew Manjooran. He will be appearing in two different looks, one with a salt and pepper bearded look and another in a young police officer’s look. Manju Warrier is playing his wife’s role in the movie. Apart from them, Kollywood star Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Raashi Khanna and Telugu actor Srikanth are also part of the cast.
The team is currently on a break after having wrapped up the first two schedules. Villain is the first Malayalam movie to be shot completely in 8K resolution and acclaimed cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the camera. Rockline Venkatesh is producing this big budget movie.
