Basil Joseph lends his voice for a track in Kakshi Amminipilla
Asif Ali starrer ‘OP 160/18 Kakshi : Amminippilla’ is gearing up to hit screens. The movie is directed by debutant Dinjith Ayyathan and scripted by Sanilesh Shivan. Asif Ali plays the lead role of advocate in the movie. Ahmed Siddique and Basil Joseph are also playing key roles. Besides acting, the latter has also crooned a song in the movie.
Basil Joseph, who started his career as a director, is a busy actor these days. With ‘Kakshi Ammninipilla’, he is taking up as a new role as a playback singer. The song will be out online tomorrow (May 18) evening. Arun Muraleedharan and Samuel Aby have composed the songs in the movie.
‘Kakshni Amminipilla’ is basically a court-room drama centred around the case of a newly wed couple, Shajith Kumar Amminipilla and wife Kanthi Sivadasan. The movie has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of Nirmal Palazhy, Sudheesh, Vijayaraghavan, Mamukkoya, Sreekanth Murali, Lukman, Aswathy Manoharan, Shibla and Sarayu Mohan.
Riju Rajan is producing the movie under the banner of Zarah Films.
