Basil Joseph’s ‘Marana Mass’ Produced by Tovino Thomas Gears Up for an April 10 Release
Get ready for a laughter riot! As per the latest reports, the much-anticipated Malayalam film Marana Mass, starring Basil Joseph, is all set to hit the big screens on April 11, 2025. Directed by debutant Sivaprasad, the film wrapped up its shoot in November 2024 and promises to be a complete comedy entertainer.
The film, which commenced shooting in Kochi in August, has been co-written by Sivaprasad and Romancham-fame actor Siju Sunny, who also plays a key role in the movie. During the launch event, Basil Joseph jokingly remarked that despite the title Marana Mass (which translates to “Ultimate Mass”), the audience could expect a signature comedy-filled experience, given his track record of light-hearted entertainers.
Alongside Basil Joseph, the film features Rajesh Madhavan and Suresh Krishna in prominent roles. The project is bankrolled by Tovino Thomas and Tingston Thomas under Tovino Thomas Productions, in collaboration with Thanzeer Salam for World Wide Films. The technical team includes music director Jay Unnithan, cinematographer Neeraj Revi, and RDX-fame editor Chaman Chacko.
