Charlie to speak Tamil soon !
Charlie is the last year Christmas release film in Mollywood which had Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy Menon played the lead roles. The film is directed by Martin Prakkat and written by Unni R along with the director. Martin Prakkat was also a partner in production of the film as well along with actor Joju George and Shebin Bucker. They had produced the film under the banner of Finding Cinemas and it was their first project indeed as producers. The film had earned mixed reviews from the common mass and good rating from critics and ended up as a box office success as well. Now, a report is coming that the film is all set to speak Tamil soon.

Charlie will be remade to Tamil and the Tamil remake rights of the film had bought by popular Tamil production house named Pramod Films. They told that they had already decided the star cast and crew members of the remake and will reveal to all without much delay. Now a days Malayalam films getting great market outside as well and also getting good remake rights. Mohanlal film Drishyam had remade to 4 languages within 2 years of its release including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
Nivin Pauly’s Premam is now making in Telugu and his Oru Vadakkan Selfie also said to be remaking to Tamil. Mollywood success Bangalore days had already remade and released in Tamil with the title Bangalore Natkal few days back but getting negative reports.
Charlie which had notable performances from Dulquar Salman, Parvathy Menon, Nedumudi Venu etc also is the last film of Late Actress Kalpana. She had done the character named Mary in film. Let’s hope that the Tamil remake and the star cast will do justice to the original version as there was a complaint or dissatisfaction about the star cast chose for Bangalore Natkal in Tamil.
