Two Malayalam films ‘My Great Grand Father’ and ‘Virus’ are releasing today in Kerala. Both the films are releasing in a good number of screens across the state. While ‘Virus’ is a survival thriller based on the Nipah outbreak, ‘My Great Grand Father’ starring Jayaram is touted to be a fun entertainer.
‘Virus’ directed by Aashiq Abu has a plethora of stars like Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith Sukumaran, Parvathy, Rima Kallingal, Poornima Indrajith, Remya Nambeesan, Madonna Sebastian, Soubin Shahir, Rahman, Revathy, Joju George and many others. Muhsin Parari of ‘Sudani From Nigeria’ fame and Suhas-Sharfu, the writers of ‘Varathan’ have jointly scripted the movie.
‘My Great Grand Father’ is directed by Aneesh Anwar and scripted by Shani Kader is touted to be a fun entertainer. Divya Pillai of ‘Oozham’ fame plays the female lead. Young star Unni Mukundan essays a guest role in the movie. It also has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of Baiju, Vijayaraghavan, Senthil Krishna, Surabhi Santhosh, Sharafudheen, Dharmajan, Dileesh Pothan and Mallika Sukumaran.
