CIA gearing up for a massive release amidst the Baahubali storm
Baahubali is the latest talk of Indian cinema. The movie is doing some record breaking business in Kerala as well. Almost all the shows for the movie in the state are running to house full shows.
Amidst the Baahubali storm, Dulquer Salmaan’s much awaited CIA aka Comrade In America is gearing up for a massive release on May 5. The movie, directed by Amal Neerad is highly anticipated by the Malayali audience.
Since Baahubali is running in all the main screens including the multiplexes, it is not yet sure whether CIA will be able to get a wide release.
CIA, written by Shibin Francis is a story about Aji Mathew, a Pala based youngster who travels to US in pursuit of his girlfriend. It is expected to be a mass entertainer with Amal Neerad’s touch of stylish filmmaking.
Debutante Karthika Muraleedharan is playing the female lead. Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothen, John Vijay and Jinu Joseph are also part of the cast.
Mark Chavarria, the action choreographer of Hollywood movies like Logan, Inception, Pearl Harbour and Terminator has choreographed the stunts in CIA. Gopi Sunder is composing the songs and background score for the movie, produced by Amal Neerad’s own banner Amal Neerad Productions.
