CK Vineeth opens up about his admiration for Mammootty
Kerala Blasters’ star footballer CK Vineeth is a self confessed fan of Megastar Mammootty. The footballer has said this in several events. In a recent interview, Vineeth opened up about his admiration for Mammootty.
He said, “Mammookka is like an emotion to me. He is a huge inspiration for me right from my childhood. I first met him during the second season of ISL. That time he was shooting for Fireman, so couldn’t talk to him. Last season, we met and interacted. After that we used to talk over phone often.”
CK Vineeth recently posted a photo of him with Mammootty in his official Facebook page. Along with the photo, CK Vineeth wrote,
No matter how many times I meet him, I’ll always be waiting for the next time I get to spend time with this man. Mammukka, my hero. Keep inspiring us and thank you for this memory that I will always cherish!!!! ️! #MyHero Mammootty
Last year, during the ISL, Vineeth along with his Kerala Blasters teammates Rino Anto and Mohammed Rafi got a chance to meet Mammootty. They met the star in the shooting sets of Puthan Panam. They also took photos with the star and CK Vineeth uploaded it in his official Facebook page.
The Kannur born footballer was one of the top scorers of last year’s ISL.
Vineeth was recently in the news after he was sacked from his job with the Kerala Accountant General’s office due to lack of attendance. Central minister Vijay Goel and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan have lent their support to him and have promised to look into the matter.
