Director Rosshan Andrrews receives black belt!
Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews has received his back belt in karate. January seems to be a lukcy month for the director as his birthday falls this year. His maiden film ‘Udayananu Tharam’ also hit screens in January. Last day, an excited Rosshan took to his social media handle to share the happy news about receiving his black belt. He has written,
My two passions in life cinema and Martial arts ! I was training under sensei Johny jose for the last 25 years . Today I got my black belt certificate !! Sensei Johny and Turing point thanks a ton ! I born in month of January, my first film released in month of January and today I got my black belt ! Thanks to January!!
Rosshan received the Black Belt certificate from Olympian Mercykuttan, President, Sports Council along with his Sensei Johnny Jose at the Annual Day celebration of Turning Point Academy.
Rosshan’s last film ‘Prathi Poovankozhi’ in which Manju Warrier played the lead also saw him debut as an actor. His stellar performance in a negative role was widely appreciated. The director will next be helming a cop flick with Dulquer Salmaan. His regular collaborators Bobby and Sanjay are scripting the film.
