Rosshan Andrrews’ Bollywood Debut: Trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Deva’ Out Now, Releasing 31st January

The trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s much-anticipated film Deva has been released, generating excitement among fans. Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, making his Bollywood debut, the film is slated to hit theaters on 31st January.

Deva is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit Mumbai Police, known for its gripping narrative revolving around friendship, betrayal, and identity. Shahid Kapoor takes on the intense lead role originally portrayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait, promising a stellar ensemble cast.

Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Umesh KR Bansal under ZEE Studios and Roy Kapur Films, the screenplay is penned by Bobby Sanjay, along with Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal, Arshad Syed, and Sumit Arora. The original score is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while Vishal Mishra provides the music. Cinematographer Amit Roy and editor A. Sreekar Prasad enhance the film’s technical brilliance.

With Rosshan Andrrews at the helm, Deva is poised to offer a compelling retelling of a Malayalam classic, showcasing Shahid Kapoor in a powerful avatar.
