Dulquer Salmaan commits another Tamil movie?
Mollywood’s young sensation Dulquer Salmaan extended his fan base to Tamil Nadu after the release of legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani. He recently signed for a romantic travelogue with debutant Ra Karthik.
According to latest reports, the actor has signed for another film, this time with a noted short filmmaker. Desingh Periyasamy who was also an associate of Vijay Milton, will be directing this movie. More details regarding the project is not yet known.
Dulquer was recently seen shooting for Soubin Shahir’s debut directorial Parava. Dulquer is playing a cameo role in the movie. He will be next joining the second schedule of Bejoy Nambiar’s Solo. It is said to be an anthology of five stories and is made as a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam. Dulquer has also committed for movies with Lal Jose, debutant Salam Bukhari and Vysakh.
We had earlier reported that Dulquer’s Kollywood movie with Ra Karthik will be a romantic commercial entertainer and a travelogue kind of a story, on the lines of Bollywood movies Highway and Jab We Met.
The entire second half of the film is set in North India. The movie is said to have three heroines playing equally important characters. The makers have approached Gautham Menon’s Enai Noki Payum Thotta fame Megha Akash and Oru Naal Koothu fame Nivetha Pethuraj, but they are yet to sign on the dotted lines.
