Dulquer Salmaan pens a lovely thanks note on his 6th year in cinema!
Exactly six years ago, this day, Malayalam cinema witnessed the arrival of Dulquer Salmaan. He stormed the scene with his debut movie Second Show along with a bunch of other newcomers. Unlike the other star kids these days, Dulquer made a very quite entry to the industry and gradually made his way up. He has now established himself as one of the most bankable Malayali actors at present, while also trying to gain a foothold in other industries.
On his sixth year in movies, Dulquer has penned a lovely little note while looking back at his journey. He has thanked all his friends, family, well wishers and the viewers to help him get better each day. Here’s what he has written,
6 years of the movies ! Second Show feels like last year. Time literally flies. I love this annual reminder of how long it’s been. The journey so far. Where all it’s taken me. What all I’ve seen and learned. The people I’ve met. The movies I’ve been blessed with. The love that I’ve been showered. Every film has been an education. There are no regrets. My ups and downs, my highs and lows have all been my own. And I love that. That’s the only way I’ll do this. I hope the next 6 years is filled with even more magical memorable films. Love to my family, my friends, most of all the viewers, you all help me become better each day.
I always believe the journey has just begun !!
Thanks to each and every one of you
Dulquer is currently shooting in Chennai for his new Tamil flick Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal. It is a romantic travelogue directed by newcomer Desingh Periyasamy. This year promises to be a great year for the actor as his Telugu debut, Mahanati, and Hindi debut, Karwaan, are slated for release.
We, at Onlookers Media, wish Dulquer Salmaan a wonderful career ahead.
