Dulquer Salmaan Set for a Grand Comeback in Malayalam; The New project will start rolling from February 2025
After a year focused on films in other languages, Dulquer Salmaan is all set to return to Malayalam cinema, with filming scheduled to kick off in February 2025. His last Malayalam release, King of Kotha (2023), received mixed responses despite its large-scale production, leading fans to eagerly await his next Malayalam ventures. Recently, Dulquer’s latest Telugu film, Lucky Baskhar, released on October 31, drew him back to Kerala for promotional events. During a fan interaction at Lulu Mall, Kochi, Dulquer thrilled fans by announcing two consecutive Malayalam projects.
Dulquer confirmed collaborations with director Nahas Hidayat and his longtime friend and popular actor-director Soubin Shahir. Both projects are highly anticipated, given Nahas’s flair for storytelling and Soubin’s knack for crafting relatable, heartfelt narratives. Dulquer also hinted at a film with a debut director, adding another layer of excitement. Despite his recent absence from Malayalam cinema, Dulquer reassured fans of his deep connection to his home industry, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support.
In addition, Dulquer has signed two other films—a Tamil movie titled Kaantha with Selvamani Selvaraj and a Telugu project, Akasamlo Ok Tara. With a packed slate ahead, Dulquer is primed to once again captivate his loyal fans across languages
