RS Vimal directorial film named Ennu ninte Moideen is going great at box office as well as in audience response. The flick has getting unbelievably good word of mouth from the common people as well as from critics who showering praise upon the film’s craft as well as the performance of the artists in it. For every artists in the film it can be said that it is one of the career best performances of them. But V T Balram MLA had a different take on that even though he appreciates the film. V T Blaram MLA says that the film is politically incorrect and it did not do full justice to the character of Moideen in a wider sense.
Balram says that throughout the film they are saying that the story is happening when Indira Gandhi is the Prime Minister of India and there are scenes also in the film which makes it sure. But Balram says that a dialogue in the film says that Kerala is ruling by R Shankar now. But the fact is that when R Shankar was ruling the state the Prime Minister of India was not India Gandhi but her Father Jawaharlal Nehru. Balram also says that throughout the film they are also trying to establish that there was a talk that India is fully in the control of Indira Gandhi. But that much power came to Indhira only in the time of national emergency period which is declared almost 10 year after the story had took place there at mukkam.
Balram also says that Moideen’s father attitude towards Socialists also not portrayed well as congress was not at all against socialism at that period and they accepted it in 1955 itself. Balram also criticized the way in which they had picturized the activities of Moideen in society through his stage performances. Balram said that they had just made Moideen like a joker while they picturized that.
Balram even though said that film is totally good and actors gave their best performances. Even though he mentioned Parvathy, Lena, Sai Kumar, Tolvino etc he did not mentioned Prithvi Raj and that was really strange as Prithvi was at his best in it as well.
