Here’s why Madhavan opted out of Aishwarya Rai – Anil Kapoor movie Fanney Khan
Madhavan is still basking in the glory of his last outing Vikram Vedha, which continues to do great business. The movie had Madhavan in the role of a cop and Vijay Sethupathi as a gangster. Both the actors garnered widespread appreciation for their performance.
Riding high on the success of Vikram Vedha, Madhavan has several interesting projects lined up this year. Recently, there were rumours about Maddy playing a major role in Prernaa Arora’s Fanney Khan, also starring Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai. It is now reported that Madhavan has opted out of the film due to date issues.
The actor has his hands full with multiple multi-lingual films this year. Madhavan has mentioned that he was impressed with Fanney Khan’s script but couldn’t allot dates to the project due to his busy schedule. He is quoted saying, “I loved the script and was really keen to be part of an interesting ensemble like Fanney Khan, unfortunately I couldn’t commit to the project due to date issues. I wish the team of Fanney Khan all the luck.”
Madhavan has also pulled out of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next. He will be next seen in Chandamama Door Ke, an ambitious space movie starring alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He has a long list of projects in Tamil as well as other industries.
