Indrajith Sukumaran starrer Aaha wrapped up after 62 days of shoot
Indrajith Sukumaran’s new film ‘Aaha’ is a sports flick based on Kerala’s own sport, ‘tug of war’ aka ‘vadamvali’. Debutant Bibin Paul Samuel is editing and directing the film. After 62 days of shoot, the film got wrapped up last day. Director Bibin took to his social media handle to inform that they are entering the post-production phase. The director has written it was a challenging experience as the film was shot in over 84 locations with 148 technicians and around 6000 artists.
Tobit Chirayath has scripted the film, which is inspired from a famous team ‘Aaha Neeloor’ that had won a stunning 72 matches out of the 73 they played in the 2008 season. Along with Indrajith, the film also stars Amit Chakalakkal and Ashwin K Kumar in major roles. Santhy Balachandran of ‘Tharangam’ and ‘Jallikattu’ fame plays the female lead.
‘Aaha’ is being produced by Prem Abraham of Zsa Zsa Productions. The film has a relatively new set of names behind the camera. DOP Rahul Balachandran, music directors Sayanora Philip and Shiyad Kabeer (background score) comprise the core technical crew. The makers are eyeing an April release.
