Jr NTR’s Devara Makes a Blockbuster Opening with Rs 135 Crores+ Worldwide Gross
Jr NTR’s much-anticipated film Devara has set the box office on fire, earning an estimated ₹135 crore worldwide gross on its first day. This exceptional figure includes around ₹90 crore from the Indian market and more than ₹46 crore from overseas collections. Impressively, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions alone contributed ₹54 crore+ in distributor share, marking a massive response from the Telugu-speaking states.
Devara is now the second-biggest worldwide opening for an Indian movie this year, trailing behind Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD, which garnered a record-breaking opening.
Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, Devara features Jr NTR in a dual role. The film, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles, has been making waves for its intense action sequences, gripping storyline, and larger-than-life visuals. The movie’s soundtrack, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adds to its grandeur, while the visual effects and cinematography create an immersive viewing experience.
