Kalabhavan Shajohn’s directorial debut Brother’s Day starring Prithviraj launched
‘Brother’s Day’, the directorial debut of Kalabhavan Shajohn got launched today with a customary switch on ceremony. The movie which stars Prithviraj Sukumaran is in the lead role is said to be a commercial mass entertainer. The launch event at Kaloor St Antony’s Shrine was attended by several prominent names from the industry. Prithviraj, Shajohn, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prayaga Martin and many others were present.
‘Brother’s Day’ is a regular commercial potboiler, a refreshing change from the experimental films that Prithviraj has been doing a lot of late. This one is expected to be a full-on mass entertainer with all necessary commercial elements in it. The actor has pinned high hopes on it and firmly believes that Shajohn will make a good filmmaker.
Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames is backing the movie, which has reportedly been planned to be made on a budget of around Rs 15 crore. It has cinematography by Jithu Damodar, songs composed by Nadirshah and background score by 4 Musics.
