Kottayam Nazeer sketches the first look of Jayasurya’s Eesho
The first look poster of Jayasurya’s new film ‘Eesho’ got shared online recently. Nadhirshah is directing the film, which is said to be a thriller. The film’s first look had a half-covered bearded face of Jayasurya with rain in the backdrop. It has some sort of a mystery element in it. Actor Kottayam Nazeer has now recreated the poster by sketching it beautifully. Jayasurya has shared the picture in his social media handle.
Recently, Kottayam Nazeer had painted a similar portrait of Manoj K Jayan’s character Dhigambaran from ‘Anandabhadram’. Before entering the mimicry arena, Nazeer was a professional artist. He studied the basics of painting for three years after SSLC at AP Arts School.
Last year, during the lockdown phase, Nazeer had undertaken a challenge to come out with 21 paintings during the 21 days. One of them was a painting depicting Christ’s crown of thorns. It was later snapped up by Alappuzha Beach Club for Rs 1 lakh. He donated the entire amount to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. In 2018, Nazeer had staged an exhibition — ‘Dreams of Colours’ in Kochi, which featured 54 paintings.
