Ex-minister MA Baby showered praises on Jalam

M Padmakumar’s Jalam is all set to hit the screens all over and it is already getting popular attention through the various appreciation coming its way from eminent personalities from various fields in our society. The latest on the list was Ex-Education Minister of Kerala, Sri MA Baby, who holds a key position in the Communist Party of India Marxist in Kerala. There was a special screening of the film in Trivandrum and it was attended by many key figures from social, political and entertainment field. MA Baby was one of them and he had showed praises on this film after watching it there.

MA Baby said that Jalam portrays the cry of those who are homeless and those who does not possess even a small piece of land of their own to live in or make a shelter. He said that every film must be like a mirror hold against the life of the people living around us and Jalam is one such film. M A Baby also said that the film had successfully told a socially relevant subject with great aesthetic and artistic touch and the depth of the content in the film is really remarkable and impressive. According to him, Jalam is not just a movie, but an experience that can make you feel the pain of those who are living around us homeless and helpless.

The film Jalam is world’s first Charity movie and it is a CSR film which had been produced by Aries Group owned by Sohan Roy. They are all set to donate the amount that the film collects from theaters to the people who have no home. The producer Sohan Roy also declared that if one does not like the film or disappointed after watching the film, he is ready to give back the ticket charge with compensation to those people as well.

Watching Jalam means that you also indirectly contribute to a good cause as the ticket you bought for the film indirectly becomes your donation to help the homeless people in the society.
