Madhavan to replace Dulquer in the Charlie Tamil remake ?
The Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Charlie had already started as per reports and the news is coming in that popular actor Madhavan to replace Dulquar Salman in the Tamil version. Dulquer Salmaan had played the title character of this film in its original Malayalam version and won the state award for best actor. The film is directed by Martin Prakkat and written by Unni R along with the director. The flick had completed 100 days in Kerala and got a super success at box office along with 8 state film awards.
The Tamil remake rights of the film is bought by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa and they are remaking it in to Tamil under the banner of Pramod films. As per reports the shooting had started by canning a temple festival scene in Tamil Nadu for the climax part of the film.
In Malayalam version, the famous Thrissur Pooram has been canned for the climax of the film. The makers rae not yet announced the star cast of the film and everybody is waiting for an official announcement regarding the Madhavan news that is spreading through social media circles. Madhavan had recently appreciated Dulquer Salmaan and the team behind the film after watching it. He is also said to be doing an extended cameo in Dulquer Salaamn-Prtap Pothen movie in Malayalam which is all set to start in the coming July.
The demand for Malayalam films is now increasing in Kollywood and the fans for stars like Nivin Pauly and Dulquer Salmaan is increasing there day by day. Malayalam films getting great collection from there and the remake rights for Malayalam film is getting big as well.
